Fratelli Da Lozzo

In the Prosecco lands, near Conegliano (Treviso), brothers Andrea and Gianni Da Lozzo produce and sell Prosecco DOC and organic wines that combine modernity and tradition across their 13 hectares.

The story of this winery begins with a love for the land. A call passed down through generations, first involving the grandparents and then the parents, a way of keeping the family together that led everyone, sooner or later, to want to become wine growers. Today the Società Agricola F.lli Da Lozzo is represented by the two brothers Andrea and Gianni who, after completing their studies, decided to pursue this path in the world of wine. This allows them to personally oversee the entire selection and production process with care and precision.

The vineyards produce only high-quality grapes, ensuring consistently excellent wine. In 2015 the conversion to organic farming began, initially covering 2.5 hectares of Pinot Grigio, Prosecco and Merlot. The following year, encouraged by the excellent results, the decision was made to extend organic cultivation to the entire production area. In 2017 a machine was purchased that allows the vineyards to be treated even more efficiently with zero environmental impact. This enormous effort led to the company's full organic certification.

All this work allowed the winery to produce its first fully organic vintage in 2018.

Brothers Andrea and Gianni produce 3 different types of Prosecco (Brut, Extra Dry and Rosé), a Pinot Grigio, a Chardonnay and a Merlot.

My selection

The wines of Andrea and Gianni are the expression of a respected land and a modern vision that never forgets its roots.

If it's your first time, I recommend the Prosecco Brut NonoNèno: the perfect sparkling wine to discover the clean style of the winery. A fresh and fragrant spumante, with notes of green apple and acacia blossom that invite you to raise a glass. Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany light starters or first courses.

Are you a fondue lover? Try the Pinot Grigio AmiRèsi: harmonious and mineral, it is the perfect companion because its acidity and savouriness cleanse the palate, masterfully balancing the creaminess of the cheese.

Salute!
